I feel good about all the wonderful content that will be brought to DAC in June. So good, in fact, that I was finally able to spend a weekend without working, the first time this has happened since I started working on DAC last June. Most of the program is in place and now we need to make sure that the word gets out. I have talked in detail about the 2015 keynotes and the visionary talk. Now it’s time to spend some ink on the DAC pavilion, where you’ll find a collection of panels, presentations and interviews, all conveniently located on the show floor. We have some really cool sessions for you to attend, including daily SKY talks at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, a few of which I wrote about earlier. Let’s talk about the other expected pavilion highlights:
- Analyst Gary Smith will open the program on Monday and Tuesday
- Wally Rhines, Lip-Bu Tan and Aart de Geus will sit down for one-on-one fireside chats Monday through Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
- IoT sessions will take place daily at 2:00 p.m.
- Last but certainly not least, independent and always entertaining Deepchip blogger John Cooley will host a “Compare Floor Notes” discussion to wrap up each day at 4:30 p.m.
“I love DAC” is a great opportunity, but don’t forget to check out the full conference program, including what we have slated for the Designer and IP tracks, and the technical conference. The advance registration deadline for receiving a discount is May 12.
I’m not dancing around on camera yet, though might do so if we exceed a registration target I have in mind. Maybe my social media team can help me with my first Vine video. For now, let’s just say I hope my excitement, and Diesel’s too, might be contagious.
