Go Green from SFO and OAK for Design Automation 2015
BART has direct service from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK) to downtown San Francisco. That’s why BART is the most convenient, inexpensive and eco-friendly way to your San Francisco hotel for Design Automation 2015. This year we recommend that you Go Green by taking BART from SFO or OAK when you arrive and depart. When you do you’ll save 44 pounds of emissions from entering the atmosphere. We also encourage local riders to take BART as well. Let’s all help sustain the local community that’s hosting our conference this year. Click here to view the SFO station information and schedule.
BART directions from OAK
Go to the AirBART shuttle stop on the traffic island and take the AirBART bus. Deposit $3.00 in the AirBART fare box when you board. If you don't have a ticket you can purchase a round-trip ticket at the Coliseum station. Proceed upstairs and take any San Francisco bound train. It usually takes 45 minutes to take the AirBART shuttle and BART to San Francisco.

Looking for a quick efficient ride? Don't feel like deadling with parking? Consider the Caltrain as your mode of transportation!
Caltrain offers a frequent schedule into the nearby station at 4th & Townsend Street for easy access to the Moscone Center. Many Caltrain stations are within walking distance from the Moscone Center.
Caltrain provides commuter rail service along the San Francisco Peninusla, through the South Bay to San Jose and Gilroy.
The San Francisco and San Jose Railroad Company began passenger rail service on the Peninsula in 1863. The system we know today as Caltrain, had its start in 1992, when the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (PDF Agreement, 1.42MB) took over the operation of the train.
