Congratulations on being accepted to present a Work-in-Progress (WIP) Poster at DAC 2019! This Presenter Resource Center is designed to provide guidelines to WIP poster presenters to create posters and prepare for their responsibilities at conference.
In order to be included in the Conference Program, WIP presentations must complete the following steps by the deadlines indicated:
Deadline: Thursday, February 28
An electronic Confirmation Form will be on your Navigation Center after acceptance — please make any needed corrections to the title and author information, confirm the person that will be presenting at conference, and re-submit by the deadline. This confirmation form is required in order to participate in the WIP session(s).
Deadline: Thursday, April 4
An AV Permission and Release Form will be emailed to speakers—please complete and submit by the deadline.
Deadline: Wednesday, April 10
Speakers will receive registration instructions by March 8. Please contact Robin Albright with registration questions.
WIP posters will be presented during a poster presentation session to give speakers the opportunity to provide details to attendees and have lively, one-on-one discussions. Please see the Conference Program for details on the WIP poster presentation time/date.
Please note the following regarding your presentations:
Please set up your poster prior to the beginning of your poster session—poster boards will be ready for setup at 8:00am the day of your presentation. Please remove your display before 7:00pm at the very latest. If you do not remove your display by the specified time, the pages or poster will be discarded. Contact Callie Koble with any questions.
