Special/Invited Session Proposals
DAC seeks proposals for the Research Track Special Sessions, Designer Track Invited Presentations, Embedded Systems Track Invited Presentations and IP Track Invited Presentations. These sessions intend to highlight timely, visionary and emerging topics for the respective audience.
- Special Sessions (Research Track): Special sessions are broad-interest sessions within the technical conference program. Topics span EDA, embedded systems hardware and software, autonomous systems, security, machine learning and artificial intelligence, design and future interest areas. A key aspect of special sessions is that they should be interesting, timely and informative, while not overlapping with the content of traditional research manuscripts. Accepted Special Sessions have the option of contributing papers or extended abstracts to be published in the DAC Proceedings.
- Invited Presentations (Designer Track): DAC is looking for proposals for invited talks and topics in the Designer Track, with timely topics and high-quality contents targeted at practitioners and designers. Topics span front end, back end auto, security, IoT, and machine learning. Please consider why a design team manager will send his/her team to attend the proposed talk. Invited Presentations do not have the option of contributing papers to the DAC Proceedings.
- Invited Presentations (IP Track): DAC is looking for proposals for invited talks and topics in the IP Track, with timely topics and high-quality contents targeted at IP provider, IP core user and hardware/software engineers. IP design is the art of choosing and designing the proper combination of analog, digital, RF, hardware and software components to achieve system design goals like speed, power, latency, efficiency, reliability, security, and safety. Please consider how the proposed talk addresses increasingly complex and diverse IP design challenges. Invited Presentations do not have the option of contributing papers to the DAC Proceedings.
- NEW! Embedded Systems Track Presentations: The design and deployment embedded systems pose significant challenges in multiple aspects of system dependability, including real-time requirements, fault tolerance, privacy and security, sustainability, reliability, scalability, and flexibility. The Embedded Systems track at DAC provides a forum for discussing the challenges of embedded design and an opportunity for leaders in the industry and academia to come together to exchange ideas and roadmaps for the future for this rapidly expanding area. Note: Invited Presentations may not contribute papers to the DAC Proceedings.
