Welcoming the International Community at DAC
Each year, attendees, presenters, panelists and exhibitors come from across the globe at attend DAC, the Chips to Systems Conference. The DAC community in 2023 represented individuals from more than 55 countries, including many of the top-level presenters and speakers.
DAC is the premier event for the entire electronic design and design automation field and offers outstanding training, education, exhibits and superb networking opportunities for designers, researchers, tool developers and vendors
Get Involved By Answering the Call for Contributions
DAC has a significant number of submissions from international authors each year. You too can be a part of the DAC program by submitting to the annual Call for Contributions. The 2025 Call for Contributions is opening on October 1, 2024. The DAC Call for Contributions allows for speaking and presentation opportunities through Research Papers, Workshops, Tutorials, Special Sessions, Panels, and Engineering Track Presentations. There are also opportunities to submit for larger stages at the DAC Pavilion and the new Exhibit Forum, both hosted in DAC's two-floor exhibit hall space.
Traveling to DAC
Conference attendees from outside the United States are urged to begin their visa application early. The waiting time can be long and varies from country to country. Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) | ESTA is now MANDATORY for Visa Waiver Program (VWP) travelers who are nationals of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, the Republic of Korea, and the Slovak Republic. Effective January 12, 2009, all VWP travelers are required to obtain an authorization via ESTA before traveling to the United States.
